Career fairs are a familiar piece of the college landscape: Employers set up booths, students bring résumés, and the hiring ritual commences in earnest.
Meet recruiters from Citigroup or Sony, leave with valuable job leads. Simple.
But what if there were a “career fair” for students with an entrepreneurial focus — those who want to work for startups or launch their own venture?
There is! In 2012, Fordham launched the Small Biz Connector. Each spring, dozens of entrepreneurs and small-business owners converge on the Rose Hill campus to find bright Fordham undergrads for internships, short-term consulting projects or full-time positions.
